Since we just did Candra’s maternity post, we thought we would also post her newborn session. Little miss Aylah is sooo cute! Veronica, Bella and I went to visit Candra, Jacob and new baby at the hospital when she was one day old. I love photographing at the hospital! Babies are so amazing, each and every one of them. Then we photographed her at the studio when she was around 8 days old….she’s got all the girl flair going on!

At long last I make this post of our wonderful friends and their not so new now baby. We were finally able to sit down and review the last few sessions in full (life with 3 kids)….and I had forgotten how beautiful some of these images are. Porter, the new little guy, was such a beautiful baby, and slept like a champ during his sessions. We are so lucky to have such great people in our lives and I’m so happy I get to document their family growing and changing. I started photographing their family when their middle child was in the belly. My how time flies!

Finally a sweet little girl to photograph, it seems like everyone has been having boys for so long now! Little Delaney is so beautiful, she gets it from her big sister! Mom, Sarah, was one of the most gorgeous pregnant women, I absolutely loved the images we created. Each and every time I photograph a baby I’m just amazed at how beautiful they are, how tiny we each were at one point. Our children grow so fast, SAVOR every moment!

What a beautiful baby! No matter how long I have been photographing newborns, I can’t believe how tiny they are. What is so amazing about having images of your newborn is that without them you would never remember how small they are when they come into this world!

Baby Henry, 3 1/2 weeks old!

My dear friend Nikki just had her third child, baby Henry. He was amazing, and slept like a rock even though he was 3 1/2 weeks old! This was such a fun session and he looks so adorable.

What a little miracle! 8 days old……amazing! It was such an honor to have the opportunity to document this wonderful time in their lives. We think we will always remember our babies when they are this small but without photographs to remind us we would never believe how tiny they really were! He was so beautiful and very alert for 8 days old….and can you believe these smiles?
