Senior photos have come a long way…..I think it is even more important for guys to hire a good photographer- someone who can create images that are masculine and strong….these are a perfect example!

My how fast they grow! Our kiddos change so much in the first year, from little tiny sleeping bundles to non stop jabbering, moving, smiling, laughing little beings. The first year is such a milestone and I love the opportunity to capture kids for parents. Jaxson was such a cutie….so big already!

Can you believe that people start this way? No matter how many times I photograph these precious, tiny creatures….I still forget how small and perfect they are and can hardly believe that my Sawyer was this small only months ago. They change so much, so fast…they grow, they amaze us, they inspire us- they change our lives forever- for the best- we can’t imagine life without them. Such power in such a small package.

Time is changing all of us…

3 crazy, cute girls….Shannon has her hands full! I have been photographing these guys for four years now, it’s so much fun to watch kids grow and change….to see them pass from one phase of life into the next. Sometimes it takes a couple of years for us to fully appreciate the photographs that we took in years past- now that we see how our kids have grown and changed we wish to hold on to the child they once were. We don’t yet know the awkward years they will have, the sweetness that may go (at least for a time!), the smile that will change….

Hottest day of the year…

Brianna was a real trooper, her session was on one of the hottest days this year and she was amazing through the entire session. Her grandparents had this amazing place on the river with lots of great areas for us to photograph. We love the old truck in the field and all the great textures that we were able to find.
