I had so much fun in not one, not two, but three sessions with Megan. Love the rain….we kept getting rained out during our sessions! I loved hanging out with Megan and her mom Susan, we had so much fun! Megan and Susan are so lucky to have such a great relationship, I can only hope that my little stinker will love me this much when he is 17. Megan was fun, mature, grounded…not to mention gorgeous. Sessions like this make me love my job!!

I am so lucky to have a studio right in the middle of Old Town! I love that all these amazing locations are right outside my door. Great colors, textures, and architectural elements. Looking at these images makes me long for spring already. I have been behind on my posts due to the craziness of the holidays, but we’re trying to get caught up!

It had been several years since I had seen Skyler. My brother and his dad were good friends way back in the day….my how time flies. It reminds me of how not only he has gotten older but so have I! Skyler is riding for Niner, one of the top riders! I was excited to create some images for him with his bike that were unexpected. He has already accomplished so much! Photographing guys is an art form in itself- masculine posing and lighting and how we relate to our subjects have a huge impact in the final results.

I love clothing with texture- it adds another dimension to the image. The warm tones of the background are very complimentary to her skin tone and eyes. Maggie did an amazing job with her make up- her eyes look amazing! Your senior session is also a great opportunity to have the rest of your family photographed. Seize the opportunity!

I love so many of the images from Nate’s session. He has a great look and amazing eyes! I love this first image, the texture in this image has a masculine feel. I like the depth that including the copper poles on the left creates.

Props to all the moms out there who are able to let there kids pursue their dreams, even if it means you feel like you may pass out while you watch them! Ryan was into racing bmx bikes first, major crash (yikes!), then got into motocross. He was a fun guy to photograph and I love his smile.

I love photographing moms with their kids, especially at this age. Jeff’s mom, Lori, was definitely emotional at the session and viewing. You just love your kids so much! I really love this portrait of the two of them together, such great smiles and I love how he is wrapping his arms around his mom.
