The Kendall’s run the best sushi place in town, Suehiros . We photographed them behind their building and around Old Town. Their youngest, Jack, was hilarious, he couldn’t stop laughing!! Then we went out to Legacy Park and got eaten alive by mosquitos…all and all a great session!

I love having the opportunity to photograph people and make them feel good about themselves. We spend way too much time negating ourselves and not nearly enough time building ourselves up…especially in Junior High. I created images that show the beauty in each of these kids and captured them in a way that allows them to see the beauty in themselves.

I love this family. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. The kids are amazing and anytime I can drink a glass of wine at a session, well, the parents have my heart. We have been working together for several years now, and the kids are growing up so fast. I love the warm colors of fall ( yes, another delayed post), I love the lighting and the naturalness of the images. My favorite photo of all is the black and white below of Dominick checking out 2 grasshoppers mating, he was asking us what they were doing and totally checking them out and trying to figure out what was going on! I was hysterically laughing and this image will always be a favorite!

There is something magical that happens when you work with clients over and over again- you really get to know each other and as your photographer I get to learn all the nuances of the things you love your images to represent. The kids get to know me, everyone knows what to expect and the parents know they can relax and be rest assured that they will love their images. I love getting to know clients in this way- I love getting a client for life! And I truly hope that I will be photographing this family for many years to come!

What a fun family to photograph! Their oldest son goes to school with my son, so I had met Ethan before. Can you believe the model quality of these two kids? I love kids of all ages, but kids over 5 are so much fun to photograph, seeking out their range of expressions and seeing different parts of their personalities. This was a really fun session, and mom did a great job getting it all together.

Katie has finally had a chance to bring her family in! Boys, boys and more boys. They may not have all been thrilled to be there in the beginning, but I tried not to torture them too much, and I think by the end they were having fun. It is always one of my goals to create a great experience for my clients, to change people’s perceptions of being photographed-making it positive instead of negative. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to create images for Katie and her family, she was so happy with her images and I know she will really enjoy her canvas and plaqs. Can’t wait until the next session!

Kudos to mom and dad for this session, these kids are so well behaved and were dressed sooo cute. Perfect clothing for a little urban flair. I absolutely love photographing kids! The things they do and say never cease to amaze me. Mom had a great style, and I can’t wait until our next session to photograph the family!

Matt & Jamie also work with my husband through Highcraft, they own Trails End Hardscapes here in Ft. Collins. They do amazing work if your outdoor area needs some attention! Their son Ryan just turned one so we did a session to celebrate this milestone. He is so cute!!!! He definitely loved his cupcake. I photographed Sawyer the same day for his first birthday, and Ryan definitely was more into eating his cupcake, and sitting still!

How can you not smile when you look at this little guy? He is so cute! I absolutely loved working with Jill. She is so sweet. This was truly a celebration as Jace turned one, he had a bit of a rough beginning but is thriving now. I was so honored for the opportunity to create these images celebrating their family and his first birthday! Such a milestone, such an incredible journey that first year. Tiring, but oh so worth it!!!!
