Desirée has spent her life behind the lens focused on capturing expressions, moments and milestones. She opened a successful photography business in San Diego more than 18 years ago, then came home to Northern Colorado to start a family and establish one of the premier portrait photography studios in the region. Desirée doesn’t simply take pictures, she creates photographic art. The direction she gives during a session lets you know you’re in capable hands, and her beautiful images frame special moments in time. Desirée’s technical experience, client rapport and eye for artistic composition make her stand out a an exceptional photographer. An image by Desirée instantly takes you back to when it was taken, and the strength of her artistry lasts a lifetime.
Candra
Designer
Digital Design is Candra’s calling. Born and raised in Fort Collins, Candra lived in Salt Lake City for three years doing post-production work for a commercial photographer. She admits she doesn’t just like design, she LOVES it, and her enthusiasm is contagious. Candra enjoys helping beautiful images look their best and is an amazing designer responsible for the studio’s in-house design work. She has a soft spot for photo sessions with babies, especially now that she has a little one!
Natalie & Max
Studio Manager & Digital Artist, Studio Dog
Natalie is Desiree’s right hand woman. After her first year here at Photography by Desirée she has become a master of digital art and client relations. Her top priority is always ensuring the most relaxed and memorable experience possible for each and every one of our clients. She takes any opportunity to explore the world, having spent a year abroad scuba diving in Australia and photographing lions in Zimbabwe. She is currently a student at CSU and, when she’s not working or studying, she can usually be found spending time with her Australian Shepherd Max, our studio dog. His adorable face and gentle demeanor make him a hit among the children that come to the studio and melts the heart of everyone he meets.
Veronica
Digital Artist
Veronica is an artist with a background in painting as well as digital artistry. She completed her Fine Arts Major at CSU and has been with Photography by Desirée for over eight years. Whether she’s working on stylizing images, painting or learning to play the banjo, everything Veronica touches is influenced by her attention to detail and abundant creativity.
